What Is Loft Insulation?

Loft Insulation can be compared to a blanket in its purpose as it traps any heat which is lost through the roof. Has your house been insulated in the last ten years? If not then it will need attention and any existing Loft Insulation will need to be increased in line with the current Building Regulations Standards depth of 270mm or 11 inches.

Installing Loft insulation is hassle-free, easy and can be free or relatively inexpensive. The time scale taken to install it is around 1 hour. Also included in the process, water tanks, pipes and hatches will be insulated. This will all help to reduce heat loss in your home and help to make savings to your energy bills.
